Welcome aboard to the newest unofficial blog of the Springfield Jr. Blues hockey team. My name is Tyler Cobb and I will be covering the team unofficially this season; which means that I am not associated with the team such as I was last season. If you in fact bleed blue, then you have certainly found the right spot!
I will be covering the team on this blog and I will do it basically from just my point-of-view as a fan of the team. Becoming a writer or a sports broadcaster at any level of college or the professionals has always been a ultimate dream of mine, so here is to helping me get better and better -- as well as at least putting together some more writing to show other people my work and get some much-wanted feed back.
Jr. Blues Gametime will feature game previews, game recaps, my own player and coaches analysts and much much more surrounding this team. As I am working on now, hopefully within the new few weeks -- if not sooner, I will be registered and all set up to have a radio show every week hosted by Blog Talk Radio and be streamed live online too. Once this happens, I will be able to have live callers call in on-air, as well as hopefully get players on the team and from around the North American Hockey League for interviews as well.
If you remember me from being the team writer for last season [or you don't remember me], my blog last season can be viewed at: this link right here (click). It has a lot of the same setup that I had for the 2012-13 season, but considering I just started it, it will definitely change quite a bit as the season gets going and I have more time to doodle around with it.
If you have any questions, comments, or feed back [positive or negative criticisms are always appreciated and welcomed!] then feel free to tweet me at @tcobb_jrblues, email me directly at tylercobb1990@yahoo.com, or leave it under any article in the comments section. Thank you all for all of the support that I have and continue to check back in on the blog for everything you need to completely bleed blue!
